September Goals

I went dark again!
Hey guys! So I know that it's not quite September yet, but I wanted to make a goals list because I'm so eager to create a list for myself.

These past few months haven't been the most productive in terms of furthering my knowledge about my interests and what not, and now is the perfect time to jump on that.

Without further ado, here are my September goals!:

1. Post Youtube videos at least once a week if not twice
2. Learn more about graphic design
3. Post every other day on here
4. Learn more about technical fashion
5. Start taking more outfit posts!
6. Go on a walk every day
7. Do at least one "photo an hour" blog posts
8. Learn to take more beautiful photos
9. Organize my room into a more aesthetically beautiful arrangement
10. Learn more about philosophy
11. Read at least 4 books
12. Start playing music for at least an hour a day
13. Start painting more!
14. Start watching Merlin again, Breaking Bad, Mad Men (again), and catch up on everything else!
15. Start cutting back on the deserts (oh, how I love my deserts!)

And those are just some of the goals I want to set for myself :) I think I may start doing this every month if it helps me keep in order. I'm a list oriented person, and this sort of stuff keeps me motivated. I'll do a September in review to see how I did at the end of it. Until then, I'll see you tomorrow with a new outfit post!

Wednesday Wishes: Autumn's Approach

A cute hairstyle I did a couple of days ago!
As Autumn slowly approaches day by day, I can't help but get excited! I started my first week of school on Monday, and it's rather exciting to finally be a senior. Even though this week, by normal standards, would probably be considered awful,, I'm in pretty good spirits. I started out the week with a horrible allergic reaction to some of my makeup, so I haven't been able to wear any. I forgot how isolating school can be when everyone looks and dresses the same, and you stand out like a sore thumb. (Even with a uniform!) I'm not saying I'm special by any means, sometimes my personality just doesn't ~jive~ with some of the people in my classes. Needless to say I have a wonderful group of friends, though, and it makes up for everything.

These are pictures I took of an outfit around this time last year, which is so strange to think about.

But basically I procrastinated my summer homework, and I've been reading constantly for the past 5 days. I have to read and annotate the Poisonwood Bible, among other things. At first I hated the book, and midway through I started to love it, but now I feel like the ending has just been drawn out. I'll give you more of a review later on! Regardless of my feelings towards the plot itself, it was written beautifully, and it is so full of symbolism and hidden language.

But with fall coming, I can't help but get excited. It has always been my favorite season for so many reasons. I love the crisp air in the mornings, the beautiful colors taking over the world, only to leave Us to a white parallel universe in the later months. It's a magical time that should last the whole year, but if it did, it surely wouldn't be as special.

With an upcoming season comes upcoming fashion! These are some of the items I would love to have in my closet when the temperature drops and the world becomes drenched with oranges and pinks. :)

I absolutely adore the 60s school girl look for the fall. The clean lines and scholarly prints are to die for! This dress wouldbe absolutely perfect with some black over-the-knee socks and some penny loafers.

I love American Apparel, despite the fact they tend to be pricey. When I saw that these high-wasited, wide-leg pants when on sale (50% off!!!!) I jumped on the chance. I can't wait for them to come!

Even though black and white was a really popular trend for the summer, I quite like it in the fall. I think it matches well with a deep pop of color.

I am completely in love with this dress, but for some reason I can't get the picture to format correctly on here! My apologies.

Another ModCloth dress, and I think it's the perfect dress for Fall! It's so delightfully 60s and so delightfully cute.

Wouldn't these socks be darling with some brightly colored crew socks?

And that is a comprehensive list of everything I've been loving! I'll probably do many more of these as the autumn season becomes more evident.

But for now, au revoir!

My Brand New Shop!

Find this dress here!
Hey guys! I'm so happy to announce that I finally launched my Etsy shop, which is something I've been wanting to do for over a year now. It's called Wearable Wishes and you can find it here. :)
I'm going to be selling a variation of vintage/handmade items. I'm hoping to learn more about clay and decoden, so I can provide more lovely items for you! Right now I have only a few items up for sale, but I will be adding more tomorrow.

This Lana Del Rey inspired crown can be found here!
This Frida Kahlo inspired crown can be found here!
I will talk to you all soon, but in the meantime: stay lovely!

OOTD: Lazy Day

Hey guys! It's a lazy day today in the Fox household :)
I've spent all day just kind of hanging around and getting ready to launch my Etsy shop! It's my second to last day of summer, and I don't know how I feel about becoming a senior! It's a little scary, but it's also incredibly exciting. I am ready to embark the learning train into my future!!!!!! (That is quite possibly the dorkiest thing I have ever said, minus the time I referenced Lord of the Rings during the Hunger Games movie. My friend slapped me.)

Anyway, I thought I'd finally get to upload my first Outfit of the Day on here! Yay!

I can't wait for tonight because I get to spend some ~quality bonding time~ with my lil bro and mom! We're going out for sushi, which I've become completely addicted to in the past 2 weeks, and then off to see the new Percy Jackson movie!

I thrifted this black cardigan with pearls all over it yesterday, and I'm absolutely in love with it! It was originally H&M, and I got it for $5. It was slightly pricey for thrift standards, but it's totally worth it.

Friday Favorites 1: (Almost Completely!) Mint Edition

Hey guys! Sorry for my absence--because it's the last week of summer, things have been so crazy! I still have a ton of homework to do, and a ton of people to see before my senior year of high school!

Before I get started on some of my favorite findings online, I want to update you on a few things. Recently I joined a collab YouTube channel called WhatsInTheBoxTV, and you can check that out here. I am currently doing the weekly videos for Thursday, and you can watch my first video here.

Another thing is that I'm considering opening an Etsy shop--I discussed it in my update video here! (sorry for all the video links!) But anyway, I think I may open an account to sell vintage and handmade items. I wanted to see if anyone would be interested in buying handmade floral crowns/jewelry. Comment down below and tell me if you'd want to or not! ^^

And lastly, Lollapalooza was SO much fun! It was probably the best weekend of the summer. I'll do an entirely separate post on that, but if you go to the Sunday Highlights on the Lolla YouTube page and stop at 0:38, you can see me in the crowd for Phoenix! Crazy, right!?

Anyway, here is the reason you clicked this post in the first place: Friday Favorites!
One of my favorite pass times in the world is perusing the interwebz, yo. Over time I tend to find some pretty neat stuff.

Isn't this dress just absolutely adorable!? I saw this post over on Mermaidens about this dress, and I fell absolutely in love!

How adorable is this matching skirt and bustier with rockets and robots all over it? I'm pretty certain it has my name on it.

I just "discovered" Sheinside a couple weeks ago, and I can't get enough. This mint skirt can be found here. (And hopefully one day in my closet, too!)

I'm also absolutely enamored with this sweater from Sheinside! It's perfect in every way.

I have been in love with these JuJu's for the past couple weeks, and I may just splurge on them.

So basically I love anything candy/barbie related, and this phone case meets both standards.

I absolutely love the Etsy shop TinyTangerines, and both of these items(this and this!) are absolutely adorable! I want everything in her shop.

I hope you are all having a wonderful Friday! :)
